Farmhouse in Pashta
A hillside farmhouse in Pashta designed to integrate architecture, terrain, and open space into a single continuous landscape.
Architecture Shaped by the Land
The farmhouse is organized across two levels that follow the natural slope of the site. Instead of cutting into the hill, the architecture is embedded within it, allowing the terrain to shape the built form. A sloped green roof extends from the landscape and becomes a walkable terrace, turning the building itself into part of the land. The front of the house remains fully open, bringing light deep into the living spaces and creating a continuous connection between interiors and the valley beyond.
Inside, the design remains calm and contemporary, allowing the setting to take focus. Large glazed openings frame views and bring in changing daylight throughout the day, while local stone, wood, and lime-finished surfaces add texture and warmth without visual clutter. The result is a farmhouse that feels both grounded and open — a place where architecture supports the landscape rather than competing with it.
